Start the career of your dreams as a professional makeup artist with our longest running & most in demand course. This 12 week accredited diploma course is curated to take you from the basics of makeup to specialized skills in the world of the fashion, photography & film industries. Ideal for students with no experience or artists who are looking to upgrade their techniques. 

Need a Part-Time option? You got it! Try our 20 week alternative, which runs two evenings a week during our fall semester which covers the same curriculum as our Full-Time option. Idea for those who work or with busy day schedules!

This program is eligible for government student funding. Learn more about student funding here. The Makeup Diploma is the prerequisite for our Advanced Makeup Diploma Program.

PREQUISITES

  • Students must be 18 years old or older. If the student is not yet 18 years of age, they must have graduated high school.

Pay Registration Deposit

Once you've completed your application form, select your course date above and add your registration deposit to your cart to checkout. 

Upon receipt of a completed application form and registration deposit, admissions will promptly review your application and notify you within 48 hours regarding your application status.

Accepted students are responsible to complete their 'Alberta Student Enrolment Contract' and other application registration steps in a timely manner. This agreement will be included in their welcome email.

      We like to have fun at AW - but we're serious about professional accreditation. Successful graduates will receive a diploma in makeup artistry, and international accreditation for Makeup Services in International Makeup Level 2.
